1. Preamble

    2. Atlas Foundation was established with an intent to alleviate and uplift sections of the human society who are underprivileged, marginalized, differentially disabled (physically and mentally challenged),orphans, elderly, sick, disproportionately affected due to armed conflict, orphans and those affected by natural calamities, by suitable means, to the extent possible, such as education, skill development, training, healthcare, emotional support, love and affection, food, shelter, security, promote social and cultural integration and promote peace and harmony, without any discriminations to any caste, creed, race, religion, colour, sex, age and origin.

  2. Objectives of the Trust

    1. Educational

      1. To establish, maintain and run schools, colleges, social service centres, industrial training centres.
      2. To provide facilities and to engage in initiatives designed to improve the welfare and education of poor and disadvantaged children and their families.
      3. To establish training centres and allied education institutions.
      4. To establish cultural and social institutions,
      5. To promote education and learning in all branches more specifically in science and technology.
      6. To train teachers and workers in ideals and practice of the true spirit of the education and learning.
      7. To establish research and training centres for the furtherance of education/learning in its various fields and branches.
      8. To undertake propaganda, training and education of the masses either of its own or in co-operation with similar agencies working for the cause of all round development of the society.
      9. To bring, publish and sell, distribute books, periodicals, leaflets, brochures and papers and also to open and maintain libraries, reading rooms for the promotion of the objectives of the Trust.
      10. To establish colleges to impart education in the area of higher education especially the emerging fields like, engineering, information technology and other allied fields.
      11. To grant full scholarships to deserving students to achieve academic success in higher education. Scholarship to include tuition fees and related charges including accommodation, fees, uniforms, books and any other educational aids for their educational pursuits.

    2. Healthcare and Assistance

      1. To aid, assist, or organize any public health endeavours that would benefit rural and indigenous communities
      2. To establish, manage and maintain community centres and welfare organizations for ill and disabled persons, their relatives and friends, including destitute persons.
      3. To provide mobility and hearing aids to deserving under privileged persons
      4. To organise and donate hospital equipment, such as hospital beds, dental chairs, wheelchairs, physiotherapy machines as well as several types of accessories and consumables used in hospitals, to hospitals and institutions doing humanitarian work.
      5. To provide health care facilities and health care services to the underprivileged.
      6. To organise medical camps to benefit the poor
      7. To facilitate treatment and medicines to the needy
      8. To provide shelter, food and clothing, education besides health care for abandoned children devoid of parental support and, to rural and indigent communities.

    3. Others

      1. To function as a non-communal Trust and as a secular organisation.
      2. To establish centres for employment generation.
      3. To acquire and maintain the movables and immovable properties for achieving the said objectives.
      4. To advance any other objectives of general public utility.
      5. To confer title on eminent personality in the field of science, education, literature, etc.,
      6. To adopt villages and to maintain.
      7. To run old age homes for the old and physically challenged people.
      8. To promote projects to invest the net proceeds to further the objectives of the Trust.
      9. To conduct relief camps during natural calamities.
